We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork erector in Central Bedfordshire, England. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb 6+ years on the tools preferred. £145 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
