Reinforcement steel fixer • Morrow County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Morrow County, Ohio. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
