Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Caribou County, Idaho. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle 2+ years on the tools preferred.
