Steel erection rigger — Tangaza

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Tangaza, Sokoto State. You will be based at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day-to-day duties: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use 4+ years on the tools preferred.
