Vacancy available: reinforcement steel fixer (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. Your main tasks: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
