Vacancy available: we are hiring a window glazier in City and Borough of Wakefield, England. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges The role involves read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
