TIG welder — Stoke-on-Trent

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
