Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in Dyer County, Tennessee. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Rotating shifts. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
