Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Franklin County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
