We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Johnson County, Tennessee. The job is at a dealership paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
