Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Askira-Uba, Borno State. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time with occasional weekends.
