Now hiring: gas pipeline fitter (West Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Berkeley County, West Virginia. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
