Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Valley County, Nebraska. You will be based at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Part-time with flexible hours.
