GMAW welder wanted in Dougherty County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Dougherty County, Georgia. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
