Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Greene County, Mississippi. You will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 5+ years on the tools preferred.
