Hydraulic press operator • Jefferson County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Jefferson County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
