Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Somerset, England. The job is on a window-and-door production line. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely On the job you will handle: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it Rotating shifts.
