Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
