Press operator — City and Borough of Leeds

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in City and Borough of Leeds, England. You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £85 per day plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
