Ladle pourer • Le Sueur County, Minnesota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Le Sueur County, Minnesota. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
