Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Perry County, Indiana. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
