Groundworker wanted in Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Washington County, Oregon. You will work with a civil contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions 1+ years on the tools preferred.
