Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 3+ years on the tools preferred.
