Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Cumberland County, Maine. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
