We are recruiting: gas pipeline fitter (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Lawrence County, Alabama. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
