Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Madison Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day to day you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
