Site safety steward wanted in Clinton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Clinton County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
