Toolroom milling operator • Lafayette County, Arkansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Lafayette County, Arkansas. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
