Concrete finisher — Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Union County, Ohio. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
