Laundry presser wanted in Pearl River County

Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Pearl River County, Mississippi. You will work in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
