Cnc lathe operator — City of Baltimore

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in City of Baltimore, Maryland. The job is in a tool room. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
