We are recruiting: we are hiring a lorry driver in Hopkins County, Texas. The job is at a logistics warehouse. You will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 6+ years on the tools preferred. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
