Port container crane operator — Richland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Richland County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
