We are recruiting: sheet metal welder (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Hertford County, North Carolina. The job is on a structural steel site. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
