Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Rusk County, Texas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
