Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Day-to-day duties: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
