Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lincoln County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 4+ years on the tools preferred.
