Plant operator • Seneca County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Seneca County, New York. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
