Heavy goods vehicle driver — Barbour County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Barbour County, Alabama. You will be based at a container freight yard. Day to day you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
