Vertical transportation technician • Douglas County, Colorado

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Douglas County, Colorado. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Your main tasks: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Run load and overload tests with test weights Part-time with flexible hours.
