Great opportunity: LGV Class 1 driver (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Darlington, England. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
