We are recruiting: safety marshal (Alaska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
