Health and safety supervisor • Makoda, Kano State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Makoda, Kano State. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
