Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Gray County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Gray County, Texas. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
