Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Spink County, South Dakota. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
