Concrete finisher • Allegany County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Allegany County, New York. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
