You should have: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site Day to day you will lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; sand and fill walls before applying primer; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches.
