Escalator technician • Leflore County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Leflore County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Full-time, day shift.
