Natural gas fitter — Midland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Midland County, Texas. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
