Hand presser — Adams County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Adams County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
